Authorities are investigating after a body was found floating in a canal in Lauderdale Lakes Monday morning.
Workers discovered the body floating in the waterway near Northwest 24th Street and Northwest 38th Terrace.
Homicide and crime scene detectives were responding to the scene, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.
No other information was immediately known.
A second body was found floating in a waterway in the 1700 block of East Oakland Park Boulevard in Oakland Park. Authorities haven't given any information on that body.
